About

HOW DID YOU START BLOGGING?
I have wanted to do this for years but never had the guts.  One day a photographer friend of mine sat me down and told me straight up " You need to be doing this."  So I went home, told my husband and he immediately jumped on board.  The rest is history.

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR BLOG NAME?
I was flipping through a magazine a few years back and came across a beauty topic.  The topic was how to get the best bouncy ponytail. It was like a light bulb went off in my head and I just started giggling. Not only is that my hair style of choice but also a representation of my personality.  So I filed The Bouncy Ponytail away in my mind for safe keeping.

WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO PERSONAL STYLE?
Finding balance.  I really love to mix things I've stumbled across at thrift stores with high end designers I've purchased on consignment.

YOUR BLOG – IS IT BUSINESS OR PURE FUN?
I would love it to be a little bit of both.  Right now its way more fun than business.

WHO’S YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE DESIGNER?
Oh that's a hard one. I would say I don't have a hard and fast always will be my number one. Like fashion my tastes are fluid so what I love changes. Some of my favorites are Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Burberry.

TELL US WHY?
Dolce & Gabbana's shows are amazing. The colors, styling and rich attention to details are drool worthy. The pieces are very editorial but they translate well into Ready To Wear.  Its a perfect pairing between form and function.   Valentino is very romantic to me.  The lacework and bead work get me every time. He knows how to create pieces that are soft and feminine while still providing structure.  Burberry has great English style with a modern twist. I love their ability to mix colors, textures and prints but still stay true to classic effortless style. Plus their styling every season is on point.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM COME TRUE?
I have always wanted to attend a show during Fashion Week.

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE PHILOSOPHY?

Buy classic tailored pieces, classic never goes out of style. Invest in watches, coats, bags and shoes. Save on accessories but when you find a one of a kind piece buy it. That one of a kind piece can turn even the most basic outfit into a stunner.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR MOTTO?

I would rather spend a little more and be happy for years, than spend less and just be ok for a little while.
