Wreath - made by me
Merry Christmas!!!!!!! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend filled with family, laughter and maybe a few cocktails :) Paul and I are in Vegas this weekend visiting my family and I'm so excited for the mayhem to begin. Its always so much fun when we all get everyone together. If you have snapchat come find me @januaryerskine because I'll be snapping all the chaos live as it happens. There is always lots of people, tons of food and I think we might even make it to some casinos this year.
Since we knew we weren't going to be spending Christmas at home this year we really haven't put to many festive touches up in the house. We have our tree, a few decoration and some outside lights but have kept things very minimal and easy this season. One thing I have been missing is the smell of Christmas - you know the smell of apple cider, cinnamon sticks and pine trees. Paul and I both love the smell of pine trees. So we decided to go to one of our favorite places, Sun River Gardens, and take in the smell of Christmas while we still could.
It was exactly what we needed and I'm sure the nice people there thought I was a loon, consistently smelling the fresh Christmas trees, but I was happy.

DeleteSo cute! I always have trouble finding sweaters that I like over collared shirts. Love this one!
ReplyDeleteNicole I do too! The trick for me is the sweater has to be slightly bigger. That's the only way I've found that you don't get those lumpy layers.
DeleteLove the boots! Very festive.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tara!
DeleteI love you photos! Have a wonderful time in Vegas.

Your photos are so beautiful, colorful and crisp! I adore the red sweater over a white/black shirt and the boots too. And I completely understand yearning for the comforting smells of the holiday season. Have a great New Year's celebration!
