Shoes: old, Sunnies: Flea Market, Lips in Pink Velvet
I came across this Tory Burch sweater a few weeks back during Husbands birthday shopping. I was on the fence about the print but said "whats the harm in trying it on." That mental conversation quickly went to "Crap I LOVE it!" as soon as I saw myself in it. Don't you hate how that happens. I know my wallet certainly did. Husband and I proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation about all the pros and cons. There was no way I was going to buy an investment piece like this unless I knew it was going to get some major use. The pros out weighed the cons and with some urging from Husband, he was a fan from the get go, I purchased it.
I've been wearing it every chance I get. The print is surprisingly versatile and the sweater keeps me so warm. At first I thought it would be too warm but as the 40 degree mornings have invaded Utah I have never been so glad to be wrong. I see this sweater in my closet for years to come - standing out in the office, playing in snow storms, being packed in my suitcase for Holiday vacations. I'm so glad I spent a little more and got a high quality forever piece.

DeleteI love that skirt! I love mustard and it's so perfect for fall but it looks terrible with my skin tone. :(
