While on our trip Husband and I traveled to a few places, one of them was Den Haag. Its an hour train ride from Amsterdam and is the government center of the Netherlands.  We walked around the city, went to a few museums, found some fabulous shopping and eventually got back on the train after a very long day.  One of the places we visited was Madurodam.  Some times you have to forget you're an adult and just have some good old fashion kid style fun in a miniature playground.  This place was awesome.  It had miniature versions of all the "must see" places in Holland filled with mini canals that had motorized boats and tiny people walking around.  It was darling and a great break from our normal museum heavy vacations.

It was going to be a cold day and since we were traveling layers were a must.  Here I'm wearing three layers. A sleeveless tee as my base in case it got really warm, a second layer for warmth and finally my jacket because in the mornings and nights it was down right cold and windy.  Planning for all weather possibilities when traveling is a must.

Till next time
