Delft

Oh this post is a little bitter sweet.  It's the last day from our trip.  We hopped on the train one last time and headed out to Delft.  Filled with narrow canals and cobblestone streets I was in love.  Delft is a very small town and everything was in walking distance so it didn't take long to see all the "musts."  Among those was Old Church. Located in the center of town the church was built in 1240 and has some pretty amazing stain glass. We went early enough in the morning that we were able to tour the clock tower all by ourselves. It was amazing and exhausting.  It took 380 very small narrow spiral stairs to get to the top but the view was worth it.

It was a very cold, rainy and windy day. I am so grateful that I brought my trench on this trip.  It's like American Express - you never leave home with out it. I purchased mine years ago and it was an investment but worth every penny when you factor in use and wear.  If you are thinking of getting a trench I highly recommend putting the extra money into a quality one. They go with everything, every season and never go out of style.

I linked a few below that I love. They range from affordable, at less than $100, to luxe.
