Hey everyone. So I'm having a really hard time right now with my closet. If you follow me on Instagram you know I have been going through my closet lately. This means purging what doesn't fit or no longer is my style and I'm just having a hard time letting go. Does this happen to anyone else? I know they are just clothes but each piece has memories. Like the dress I wore to meet Husband's parents for the first time. Its a gorgeous spring frock that is now 2 sizes too small but its been hanging in my closet for years because of the significance. Which means its taking up prime real estate. My head is saying " January, why the hell do you still have this?" while my heart is saying "Its so pretty!" Ya, they normally aren't on the same page. The only plus side is that I've been able to narrow in on areas of my closet that need improvement. Did someone say shopping!!
One of those areas is colorful light weight sweaters for Spring. I needed something that would keep me warm in the chilly morning hours but not overheat me during the day. The pastel hue of this sweater is super sweet but the beading takes it from childlike to sophisticated. I paired it with a black and white stripe eyelet skirt and water colored heels for a cheery Spring time office look.
